Answers to Common Questions
Can you help me match a specific brick or mortar color?
Yes, absolutely. We specialize in brick-and-mortar matching, including rare and discontinued materials. With over 70 years of archived samples and supplier relationships, we can identify or source the right material for your project—especially if you're renovating or repairing an existing structure. Just bring a sample or a clear photo, and we’ll walk you through the options.
Do you deliver heavy materials like blocks, coal, or pavers?
Yes, we offer professional delivery throughout a 50-mile radius from our yard in Chambersburg. Our fleet includes telescopic boom trucks that allow us to place heavy items—such as pallets of blocks or fuel—directly into foundations or into tight-access areas, saving time and labor on the job site.
Can I store wood pellets or coal at your facility?
Yes. Our Early Bird Storage Program allows customers to purchase fuel in the summer at pre-season rates. We’ll store your wood pellets or anthracite coal until you need them in winter, ensuring you have a supply on hand when demand and prices are highest.
Do you sell to homeowners, or only to contractors?
We’re happy to serve both. Contractors and masons make up our core business, but we welcome homeowners looking to heat their homes, repair brickwork, or install hardscape. If you’re unsure what you need, our team will guide you through product selection and logistics.
Do you offer installation or contractor services?
No, we’re a supply-only yard—but we refer customers to trusted local tradesmen. If you need a qualified contractor for masonry or hardscape installation, we’ll help connect you with professionals who regularly use our products.
Do you accept orders by mail or phone?
Yes. We proudly support Amish and Mennonite customers with printable order forms available for mail-in submission. We also accept phone orders and can process material requests or quotes the old-fashioned way—no website needed.
Still have questions? Our team is here to help—call, email, or stop by the yard, and we’ll make sure you leave with the answers and materials you need.
